- Don't use cars as a mode of transport for two months (walk, public transport, cycle).
- Only throw away one bin bag of rubbish in a whole year (recycle, donate, compost etc.)

- Don't watch TV or go to the cinema for two months.
- Sell something on eBay.
- Learn to read knitting patterns and knit something wearable.
- Give blood.
- Cycle everyday for a month.
- Work for my ticket at a festival.

- Make pasta from scratch.
- Be able to do 50 consecutive push ups.
- Learn one ballroom dance (with a partner....James?).
- Learn to do yoga.
- Don't complain about anything for a week.
- Do some guerrilla gardening- plant three plants.
- Identify 100 things I'm truly thankful for.
- Have a manicure.
- Have a massage by a professional.
- Be responsible for the planting of 100 trees.
- Learn to identify 10 constellations.
- Be involved in a singing performance.
- Go to an opera.
- Learn to make soap.
- Make a felt hat.
- Keep a diary or blog everyday for two months (could be six-word journaling...).
- Swim in a natural river.
- Don't use the internet for a month.
- Learn first aid.
- Brush my teeth twice a day for a month.
- Go skinnydipping.
- Go barefoot for three days.
- Watch the sunrise and sunset in one day.
- Upload a video to YouTube with no help whatsoever.
- See Frank Turner in concert.
- Grow mushrooms.
- Sleep under the stars.
- Try a spin class.
- Be able to touch my toes.
- Milk a cow/goat.
- Open a cookbook to a random page and cook and eat what is on it for my main meal every day for a month.
- Sleep in a hammock.
- Learn to do front crawl comfortably and competently.
- See a Shakespeare play in Stratford.
- Learn 50 words in sign language.
- Visit a sewage plant.
- Visit a prison.
- Do something that scares me every day for a month.
- Participate in a protest.
- Go to a flea market (Sunday Flea at the Custard Factory?)
- Learn how to read tarot.
- Work out how to make the lemonade my mum used to make.
- Write a message on the wall of a public toilet.
- Be a giver for World Book Night.
- Participate in a photoshoot.
- Read a book in french.
- Send a message in a bottle.
- Make a list of at least 30 books I want to read and read them.
- Go bus-hopping.
- Buy 5 ‘Big Issue’s.
- Go out for brunch/breakfast.
- Ride a vespa.
- Enter a photography competition.
- Attempt to learn to surf.
- Get involved with a charity other than Mary Stevens, preferably that will help future job applications to charities eg. Office work for Oxfam or Greenpeace.
- Go on a picnic (outside).
Don’t pick James’ spots for 2 months.- Visit 5 different European countries.
- Learn to make 5 recipes using spinach that I like.

101 in 1001
Here's the list, and this is where I'll be keeping track and recording my efforts. Some may end up a little ambitious, but I'm a big believer in that when you need something to happen, it generally does. And if it doesn't, you obviously didn't need it that much!
